Story
Our Heritage
The land our park sits on holds a very special place in our hearts. It once belonged to Edwin's great-grandfather, who utilized it as a traditional cattle and hay field. In 2016, we began our journey by purchasing an initial 2-acre parcel of this family land. After two years of planning and building, we officially opened a cozy 12-site RV park in 2018.
Expanding Our Horizons
Over the past 9 years, our small campground has blossomed. We purchased an additional 3 acres, bringing our total property to 5 beautiful acres. Today, we proudly offer:

18 full RV sites for road travellers.

3 rustic tent sites for traditional campers.

9 glamping and camping sites for a touch of comfort.
Modern Comforts & Nature Trails
We continuously invest in our property to give you the best possible stay. We have added a dedicated cookhouse and firewood building for your convenience. We are also currently building a brand-new facility featuring 4 spacious washroom stalls, 4 refreshing shower stalls, and an expanded storage area.
If you want to stretch your legs, take a stroll on our amazing new walking path. It features scenic viewpoints and rest areas that directly overlook our beautiful town.
Deep Roots in Trout River
We have kept our deep history alive by maintaining a portion of the property as an active hayfield, where guests love watching locals tend to the hay. We are incredibly proud to showcase our small, close-knit community of 500 friendly residents - many of whom have spent their entire lives here. We welcome travellers from all over the world to experience the authentic warmth, heritage, and beauty of Trout River, Newfoundland.

Edwin
Passionate about construction, fishing, faith, hunting, and family, not necessarily in that order. He is usually found with some kind of carpentry tool in hand, but wishing he was on a river.
Owner/Administrator
Tracy
A proud momma of 3 children, who loves exploring the island of Newfoundland, hiking, reading, and watching documentaries. You will usually find her daydreaming and planning her next adventure someplace tropical.
Manager
Natalia
Pround mother of Aaliyah, her beagle Whiskey, cat Chi-Chi and her 6 ducks! She loves going on adventures, hiking, photography, meeting new people and trying new food.
Maintenance/Cleaner
Jason
He enjoys cosplay and events, D&D, forging, video games, and bushcraft. A man of varied interests and very few words.
Cleaner/Hostess
Tiffany
She's a mother of 3 who loves to spend time with her big family, and fur babies. She can be found enjoying sunny days and backyard bbq's, when not at work.
